The Mountain Home Education Foundation has been created to support the educational programs for both students and staff of the Mountain Home Public Schools. The MHEF will provide funds for educational programs and activities which either have not been funded or have been underfunded by the normal operating budget. These funds will be used to facilitate student achievement and skill development, to recognize and encourage staff excellence and to expand community involvement from individuals, businesses, and civic organizations. The $2,500 scholarship was donated to the MHEF by the Blumreichs to support students who have created a business plan while in high school and plan to continue their education in a business field. Dewey created a business plan for a Future Business Leaders of America competition her senior year. Anstaff Bank pledged $2500/year for five years to MHEF Projects.
